Project overview
— The Goal
As a Design System Lead for the EZ Staffing application, the project goal is to establish and maintain a robust and cohesive design system that enhances the overall user experience, improves design consistency, and increases design efficiency across products or platforms within the organization. The design system should serve as a centralized resource that empowers designers and developers to create high-quality, visually consistent, and user-friendly interfaces.
— The Challenge
The main challenge as a Design System Lead is to overcome obstacles such as gaining alignment and buy-in, integrating the system into existing workflows, maintaining and evolving the system, driving adoption and education, and balancing scale with flexibility.
